Hi, I was wondering if my msp will be louder with my resonator removed or will it sound really bad. Also will it give me anymore horsepower? I talked to a couple exhaust shops and the one guy brought up removing it. But ive checked around and some people are telling me that it will be too loud or too quiet. I have the stock setup, stock muffler. Has anyone done this before? (uhm)

on a stock msp cant remember who did it or who was gonna do it.. but i removed the resonator and have 2.5 piping on the mp3. it sounds awesome i think. maybe its because i have an apexi muffler.

I think as long as the resonator has the same inner diameter as the rest of the exhaust it will not decrease power. Removing it will definitely make it louder...

cool , thanks for all the info. I think ill get it removed;)

when i get some more $$$$ to remove it ill get a sound clip(thumb)

don't do it! haha me and my friend already tried this on my MSP. The results are still the same not louder or quieter. I replaced the resonator with a 2.5 inch pipe. It would probably be more usefull if you spent that money on a axel back or dp.

cool thanks alot for the info, i didnt get it done yet so from hearing that i probally wont. Thanks
