Removing the B&M short shifter?

Ok... you guys are making think I am missing something here. The shifter does occassionally kink, but I thought that was the oridinary linkage of the P5. Hmmmm... maybe I should try someones who has a B&M broken in. The B&M that I tried before I bought the TWM was relatively unbroken in. Probably not worth the cash at this point for the 4 year old car.

not to highjack here... I know B&M makes a high quality shifter.

I went back and forth between kartboy/b&m/twm when deciding on a shifter. Seems like everyone has a preference, which makes it tough reading reviews/deciding on a ss.

I tried to get a kartboy, only to be told that they weren't in production anymore. So I got a TWM. Yes the shifter is low and it's pretty stiff. I've had it for a few weeks now and getting into first has gotten easier. The shifts are definitely quicker now.

And as far as leverage, the TWM shifter is height-adjustable. Mine is still a bit low for my liking... I need to bring it up a bit.

All in all, I'm 100% happy with my TWM shifter/bushings/knob.

now, if you drive like a ricer (seat leaned back behind the B pillar, with one hand on the very top of the steering wheel even when "racing"), have long arms, don't care about driving *good* fast, don't care about breaking your transmission, and want to have the mad tyte style points for the car shows, then the TWM shifter is for you!

too funny....just waay too funny
