Removing seats with airbags??

Hey guys, I am going to be removing the seats in my totalled P5 here soon and was wondering if there is any danger of the side air bags going off? Is there any sensors that I need to worry about? Any tips or tricks that will keep them from going BOOM! I really don't want to mess them up.
