Removing rear head rest trim jc cosmo

Hi has anyone successfully done this - removed the trim that goes along the top of the rear seat - I have unbolted the centre bolt behind the rear cosmo - unclipped it on the side by the front belt retraction units but it simply wont budge. After much cursing and jamming my fingers I have given up for the night. Any advice to get this stubborn trim piece out would be great (whistle)

I had the same issue and I also came very close to a nuclear scale flip-out until I figured it out.

In the middle, there is a small piece of white string. It is connected to a plastic clip. If you locate the string (it is a white), simply pull this down and towards the front of the car. It should disengage a locating clip.
