the h & r drop is close to the racing beat drop so i think you should be ok. Racing beat is like 1 inch and h & r is 1.5 -=)

yep, the mazdaspeed adjustables are hella expensive. even at mazda motorsports, they were $160 each. way too much.

i'm just going to wait for the tokico adjustables (if they EVER come out) and pair them with a set of MP3 or MSP springs. maybe go with the MP3 struts in the meantime...

are the mazdaspeed adjustable struts worth the money??? and doesnt Protege5online.com or whatever have those for like 650??

wonder if we could somehow get a group buy going? I'd be in. Now we just need to find a dealer willing to deal.:D

yeah, I also sent an email to them to see if they had any in stock or if they could order them and how long it would take... but no word yet... so hopefully you have better luck..

mazda motorsports says,

"The Mazdaspeed adjustable struts might be an option for you,
however, we only have left ones in stock now, with no way to get any more right ones. We had an equal number of sets, but oversold the right side. You can probably get the ones we don't have through Corksport, www.corksport.com."

:(

Protege5online wrote back and said they dont have 'em either.

:(

so is there any reputable company out there working on decent adjustable struts for our cars??? I'm gonna need new struts soon.

I say we hit Tokico up

With mass emails / phone calls. There is no reason they can't make some decent struts for us (especially since they've done most of the R&D with Mazda for the MP3/MSP.) If they'd at least release "blues" for us, I'd be satisfied.

It's only taken two days with the Eibach ProKit installed to realize I want stiffer struts! Don't get me wrong, the OE KYB's aren't bad, but an upgrade would be nice. And I don't want to spend $500 buying them from mazdastuff.com either.

What do you all think? Bug the hell out of Tokico? Or maybe Eibach (for ProDampers.)

Just an idea....

sounds like a plan... but the problem is, I dont think Tokico can make stuff for our cars just because of how closely they worked with Mazda on the MSP/MP3. Some clause is probably there stating they can't make something to take away from Mazda's sales. But I'm for it.

Since we're on the subject of new struts, If the mazdaspeed ones are "discontinued" the what are they putting into the new MSP's? Are they just not adjustable? And can I get non-adjustable Ms struts and use them with my spool springs?

I'll send them an email when I get a chance......

Damn, sooo should i just save up and get full coilovers from Tein? or will i still have the same problems?

eh... the only problem I see with buying Tein is that they are only entry level coilovers..... so I figured that if I could find some decent adjustable struts, and some nice springs that would be just about as equal to the Tein Coilovers(and cheaper)...... Buuuuuuuut... they dont make the adjustable struts that I wanted anymore, so that blows that right out of the water... And JIC, well, I have heard alot of mixed reviews on their coilovers.

Maybe I will just put my spool springs on my stock struts for now. Then whenever an adjustable strut does come out, i can do that.
