Remote-less key system

I just got my mp5, and when I first used the remote lock and unlock, the lights would flash and if you hit the button twice the horn would beep, now when I hit it the lights will flash when I unlock the door, but it won't flash or beep when I lock the doors. The doors do lock. I looked in the manual and as I suspected there was only useless information, I was wondering if this has happened to you guys....is there a way you can reset it so that the horn beeps and the lights flash?

Well to be honest this happenned to a friend of mine and she finally found out why, her trunk wasn't closed properly, give that a shot, sometimes the simplest solution is the best, make sure all doors are clsoed properly including the trunk

Thanks for the help, it ended up being the hatch that was still open...someone of my family went and open the hatch but didn't shut it, they just let it close itself, but it doesn't have enough force to close all the way.

lorden is 100% correct.....if you are talking about the stock factory system.....IF the lights don't flash....and or the horn doesn't beep.....it indicates that ONE of doors is not 100% shut.
