Well I decided to get the shift boot from RedLine Goods and installed it last night on my MZ3.
For those of you that are thinking about getting it, here are a few things to keep in mind when installing it.
The instructions on the website are easy to follow and show step by step how to install. I used 2 part epoxy to adhere the leather boot to the plastic cap. Once I installed it back on the center console, I found that the piece to which the boot is attached to, warped due to the thicker material. Not much you can do about that due to the thicker material.
Overall I like the look of the new shift boot. I recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive mod for their car.
