Redline MT-90 or Royal Purple Max Gear?

Need to change my tranny fluid in my manual gear box and have read and read about these and the GM/Lucas stuff, but question the long term effects of this combo. So which gives you smoother shifts? RL or RP?

I have searched and searched, but nothing conclusive between these two fluids. Anyone?

I am not an expert, but I just changed my tranny oil to redline. So far so good. I used redline because it has been tried and tested on many cars for many years. Used it in my integra as well and worked out fine.

I ordered Redline MT-90 last night, so I'll post a follow up.

I had read so many good things about MT90 that I installed it. Shifting, especially when cold was greatly improved. 2nd gear was a problem but now cooperates like the rest of the cogs. It helps that there's a performance shop down the street from my office that sells the complete line.

I hope it improves mine. I also have difficulty when cold getting it into 2nd gear. Sometimes I'm afraid I'm going to get rear ended pulling out in traffic and I can't catch second gear.

Did the change a week ago with the Redline MT-90 and it's a night and day difference. Shows you how terrible the original oil is. Now shifts as smooth as butter.
