I think because im running a wide tire. They're 225/45/17's. haven't noticed them rubbing since I got the fenders rolled tho.

had some plasti-dip left over, just to see what a matte black would look like.

Bunjee cords are extra ghetto lol. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Velcro-Industrial-Strength-Tape-Black-4-x-2/17190461 I used Velcro brand like what I linked in the picture. I'm using 3 3inx2in patches stuck to the bottom of my box and to my carpet and my sub doesn't budge.
one way of keeping the box in place is to put it against your back seat and use a bungee cord and hook it on to the hooks for the child seats and around the sub box, which is what my dad did in his old truck. In my car, I use industrial strength velcro... hahaha
its close to 2.5 inches, i just grabbed a tape measure and wrapped it real quick. and im going to have to agree with LtStiles, the cords would be a major buzz kill and wayyyy to ghetto for my taste.Bunjee cords are extra ghetto lol. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Velcro-Industrial-Strength-Tape-Black-4-x-2/17190461 I used Velcro brand like what I linked in the picture. I didn't see specifics on sickspeed's site.
you and i are in the same boat. shouldnt be much longer! another coat of clear and they should be golden.(no pun intended)Can't wait to see them on the car!!
yeah bungees are not the route im taking. ill look into the velcro idea, and for how cheap velcro is its worth a shot for sure.Yeah the bungees weren't pretty... hahaha
and I'm using that exact same velcro for my subs (2thumbs) they don't move at all and it looks very clean
i have all of my audio running on one amp right now, but im adding a second amp to power just the sub. i figured i would just attach one amp to the top of the box and the second on the side of the box to increase hatch space. under the seat isnt a bad idea either, i might have to look into that.Adding to that. If you want more trunk space, mount your amp to your back seat or under your passenger seat. This will allow you to put your sub where your amp currently sits and, therefore, give you more trunk space.
You have to be careful mounting to the box. Many amps discourage it because the vibrations could negatively affect the amp. That being said, I attached my amp to my box because I'm only running 550w max in a sealed box. Was that circumference measure just under 2.5 inches or just over? If it's just under then they will fit on my new rims!
