Recommendations on some rims for around $100 apiece?

I am getting some maintainance work done on my 2002 P5, plan on keeping it for another 2 years or so. I would like to make it look a little different, figure wheels may be my best bet. I like gunmetal, think it goes great with yellow. Any suggestions on styles and/or brands for around $100 apiece?

I just got a set of Konig Maxxim rims for my P5 about a year ago. I paid $429 for the set. They are gloss black w/a red stripe on the outside, my P5 is silver. Just google the size rim you want. I looked on about a dozen sites before I found the ones I wanted and in the size I needed. There seems to be less of a selection in 16" rims than 15 or 17. There is also a website, I forgot the name of it, where you can load a picture of your car and select rims and see what they look like. The rims on that site were a little pricy, but you find ones you like then you google them to find the cheapest ones. I wound up getting mine from JLBMotorsports.com.

Thanks spydermonkey, I love em.

Yup, exactly Justin 2129.
Actually my son just rolled that jeep a couple of weeks ago.

Ya, I have a lot of people tell me I should lower it.But I still drive people around in the back seat. I actually put a spacer in between my springs so that I don't rub my tires due to the offset of the rims. So it actually looks almost like I raised it an inch or so.

hmmmm im lowered and i can drive with a huge amount of musical equipment (amps, guitars, keyboard, etc) or a carload of people and ive never rubbed....but then again im on stock rims. maybe you could get your fenders rolled so you could lower it...those rims are REALLY nice looking, and lowering it would make it look even better

It looks so weird to see a stock height P5. I wasnt sure if mine was lowered or not when I bought it but... yeah. They have massive wheel gap. Liking the rims though. What size are they?

Search around because there are tons of sites for wheels but you better off getting a wheel/tire combo because you'll get a better deal and most likely free shipping to boot. I must have looked for 6 months until I decided upon the right setup. The more time you take to find the wheels the happier you will be.

Personally on yellow I like a silver wheel, possibly 10 spoke design. I know that would make it the most understated look possible but in reality it would be the cleanest. Dark wheels are starting to become played out in my opinion. Practically half of tuners have black/gunmetal wheels which takes away from the look of the car, that is of course unless you have something to break up the dark color like a red stripe!

But if you are only going to keep it for two more years do you think it is worth it? The only reason I went with the setup I have is because I plan on keeping it for a long time (until she dies!). Spending this kind of money on something you won't have that long won't pay off in the end unless you plan on carrying over the wheels to your next car (which in turn is a problem because it would force you to get a car with the same bolt pattern/look you want). Just a little food for thought!

My rims are 16x7 with a 45mm offset. Nice 16" rims are hard to find, at least they were last year.
The offset is what messed up my height. I could have kept my 205/55/16 if I had kept the OE rims, without the spring spacer.
Now I ride on 205/50/16 on the new rims.
So rolling the fenders is the only way to lower it and loose the rub?
Could you give me a clue as to what goes into rolling the fenders?
Thanks.
