rebuilding engine

need some advice. i know its best to use regular oil not synthetic during first 2 or 3 oil changes. but i need help on what oil to use for break in. i see they sell oil just for breaking in a engine. i cant find much info on it for newer cars.

anything helps what should i use. i have a full built engine all forged.

Most break-in oils contain zinc and other additives to help along parts that haven't quite mated. Many of the break in additives are designed for flat tappet push rod engines.

Run a good dino oil and change it at 50 miles, then again at 500.
