Rear Sway Bar options?

I have a FWD. I'm sure I could get the job done for cheaper somewhere but want to avoid the old rund-around. "Computer says its 4 hours of labor so cost will be XXX and if I can get it done sooner, I'll subtract it."

May be try Brakes Plus, a national chain, if there’s one in your area? If dropping the subframe is needed, the rear wheel alignment may be needed. At least Brakes Plus has a good Hunter alignment machine and they can check the alignment after the job. They won’t charge you for alignment if the rear suspension is still within specs after the subframe drop.

Thansk yrwei, The dealership guy might have misunderstood me when he quoted me for $250. Maybe it was for the part and not the install. What a waste of time. I will stick to calling around locally.

Gonna get the sway bar installed tomorrow at the shop. I ordered some upgraded MOOG endlinks which won't arrive until tomorrow, meaning I will have to resort to using the current OEM ones. If I wish to upgrade them to a later time, does anyone know if it's a straightfoward process that isn't too labor intensive? Thank you.

Apologies for the late update. The entire installation process went smoothly and the mechanics and manager were knowledgeable in what they're doing in slightly lowering the subframe.
As requested, the Progress bar was set on the softer setting and I can definitely feel a measurable difference when driving and cornering. The car felt more planted during straightaways while the ride is stiffer on road imperfections. As for cornering, the car stays flat on turns and some of the wallowing/boatiness sensations were eliminated. At this point, I'm currently satisfied and may not even need the stiffer setting. It's an excellent handling mod and definitely worth the money.

FYI 2014 Mazda 3 OEM sway bar shares same part # with current gen cx-5 and cx-9.

Appreciate the info. It fits the 3,6 and CX-5 but I can't speak for the CX-9. Originally I wanted the Corksport one but the CS parts specialist informed me it wouldn't fit.
