Rear Sub-Frame Probs!

OK guys I just want to say in advance, thanks for looking and trying to help me out. In the picture provided I have a major sub-frame issue. As you can see where (I think they are called "Trailing Arms") connect to the sub-frame it is curling and splitting. Now the guys at my local mazda want just under two grand just for a replacement sub-frame. So, I there an after market or some other alternative to my problem?

2 grand? HAHHAHA they're really out to rip you off! the part is only like 300 bucks new and you can do it on your own driveway!

Word! This is an easy part to get and to replace, even for a rookie. I suggest calling the service writer you talked to and giving him a few choice words, because that is really outrageous.

You can even replace it with hand tools, but those bolts are not going to want to move, especially with all that sweet rust, so pneumatic tools would definately be better.

Holy Crap! I tried looking up the part but there is waaayyyy too many parts on that site. So much so I can't find it!! Ill get back in a few hours when I find it. LOL! Thanks for the help! On a side note if you hear about a Mazda mechanic who was killed, I was out drinking with you!

I think you need p/n B30D-28-800A (believe it's shared b/w the sedan and hatch). Another option you have is to buy one from a part-out on this site. I'll have one in a few weeks if I ever get around to installing the RB swaybar kit on my car.
