Mazda 6 2L Diesel TS
Hi all,

I have a 2004 Mazda 6 2L Diesel TS. The problem I have with it, is both the rear signal indicators dont work. The front and side bulbs work, but flash fast. The bulbs r ok. There is no current to the lamps. The tail lamps and reverse work fine. When I checked further, the interior lamps front and rear also dont work. The vanity lamp on the sunshade works fine.

So I checked the fuses, in the engine bay fuse #14 Hazard 10A is fine, fuse #25 overhead lights, power door lock 40A is fine. Inside on the passenger side, fuse #11 Room 15A is fine. I changed the fuses anyway and also the bulbs but nothing works. If anybody has come across something like this pls advice on how to troubleshoot this. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE:

Went to Lifestyle Mazda in Eastbourne, they had a look at the bulbs and said it might be the bulbs but I need to buy a set of bulbs for the mechanic to try them on. Also they need 90 per hour if the bulbs did not work which I was not willing to pay. Next I called up a mobile auto mechanic and he wanted 60 for an hour and if he could solve the problem in that hour no further charge.

I need the indicator lights working with minimal spend, so what I did was wire the rear in parallel to the front indicator and it works. Only problem is that the original problem has not been sorted. When I find a cheaper mechanic I might fix it, but for now this is what I have done. If anyone did seem to know what might be happening or would help me troubleshoot as to where to look pls do message me or reply here.
