I'm setting up trailer wiring for my CX-9. I'll get power from the rear power outlet.
The owner's manual says the fuse for this is in location 22 in the glove box fuse panel, but gives no value for the fuse rating.
In my glove box fuse panel, there is no fuse in location 22, but the outlet is powered anyway, whether the ignition is on or off.
At this point I have tapped into the hot wire behind the power outlet, and added a 10A in-line fuse between that wire and the trailer converter. This works fine, and seems plenty safe, but I'd like to understand the factory fusing of the outlet. Can somebody please explain?
Phil
