Rear Cargo Mat...

I work construction and when I am driving I leave my dirty steel toes in the cargo area on top of a towel with the rest of my equipment. I am a clean freak and keep my car clean constantly as well. I am in need of a cargo mat or tray for the rear. I have been looking around and asked the dealer if they made any specifically for the MS3, the guy told me they don't. He also wasn't sure a 5 door Mazda 3's tray would fit in the MS3. He stated they had troubles making the cargo net fit in a Speed, but thats the net not a mat or a tray.

What do you guys think? Will a 5 door M3's mat or tray fit in a MS3? I am currently leaning more towards this one if it would fit:

The one for the regular 3 hatch fits just fine in a MS3.

Hmm....then why does Mazda not offer one for the Speed 3??? I was wondering the same thing but in my Mazda catalogs it says nothing about the Speed 3 having this accessory.

because it's not a perfect fit... the floor bracing brackets make the trunk area shaped a bit different

Why not a Speed 3 Mat or Tray

There are pictures posted on this forum that show how well the tray or mat or both fit in the speed 3. The mat has Mazda 3 on it so it is not Mazdaspeed specific - and the Tray just says Mazda.

Again - both work so take your pick.

Mazda wil not make a specific tray or Mat because of the low production numbers - 5,000 and only a handfull of owners buy those items.
