I have noticed on my car and on other cars like my sedan that I have much more brake dust on my rear wheels as compared to the front wheels. I have never, ever, in all my 25 years of driving and owning cars of all types.
I'm wondering why this is? Is it a brake material difference? Are they misadjusted/malfunctioning? Is this intended.?
What I notice, too, is that there doesn't seem to be hardly any brake dust on the fronts.
It also seems to feel that when I brake hard the braking is more from the rear than the front. It never felt out of control or awkward handling because of this but it didn't feel quite as secure as my VW Passat that I traded in.
What say all you.
