In all honesty .. the 1995 MR2 made it to the #5 spot in the Road & tracks top 10 best handeling cars in the world .. and I can say from expiraince .. that it is like its on rails ... they even went so far to get the handeling they wanted ... after they attempted over 200 differant types and sizes of tires .. they couldnt get what they were looking for .. so they actually had the factory tires made specifically for this car. and at the time there really wasnt many options for a high performance street tire anyways ... this car and its Mid- engine design with the cross member bars (X shaped strut bars if you will) in part with its weight ratio is a suprub match ... which they wanted to have a close 2nd to the ungodly supra they were gonna release at the time

Nah, they're not slow.. I saw a stock one at the tracks that ran 14.9 -
They only have 138hp and low torque, but their weight, engine layout, and LSD helps it quite a bit. It's also been argueable that it's one of the best handling cars ever made.
