Oh the memories. *sigh* Brings a tear to my eye everytime I see that video. I believe (if it still is) that is the most powerful 2 in north america. Probably not anymore though. I think hes pushing around 700+hp. Last time I heard he couldnt get a clutch to handle all the hp. He owns a business that specializes in mr2's. They have badass parts. Cant think of the page right now though...

I've got a n/a Mkii MR2 ... it feels faster than my MP3, but would definitely lose to Mazdaspeed Protege ... except in spinning rear tires I love having mid-engine rwd... now if only they'd make a rwd protege conversion kit, then I'd be set. Goodbye to torque steer and HELLO to throttle steer!

Nah, they're not slow.. I saw a stock one at the tracks that ran 14.9 -
They only have 138hp and low torque, but their weight, engine layout, and LSD helps it quite a bit. It's also been argueable that it's one of the best handling cars ever made.
