real rx7 lol

Nice, I've seen them with all kinds of motor swaps. One guy had a Ford 2.3L turbo in one, that car was insanely fast.

Ewwww why would u digrace a rx7 engine bay with that horrid non rotary engine. Rotary is more better in every aspect except maybe gas mileage.

damn, i hear ya bro. ill have to come up and see it during the holidays, we need to hang out too! hit me up man. oh by the way, nice "XXX" motor....lol

rotary= $$$$$$

(blah)
try building a rotary motor then tell me its better!!!!try having a 400hp motor in a rotary without super tubo lag or 10lbs of torque. just cost to much plain and simple. you see plenty of 400+ hp 3rd gen rx7 but alos a price of 20+ g's. i am on a budget build, talking less then $3000 with buying the car.

Nice motor! And nice car! Just that you put the wrong motor in the wrong car. ;) Put that back in the 'stang, and get the 13B back. Hehee.

For what it's worth, my '88 Turbo II is pretty damn fast with the rotary still in it. ;) Now I just have to remake the wiring harness. Ugh.

Once Mazda figures out how to build rotaries that DON'T grenade themselves, then we'll talk.

All you naysayers, the 302's extra weight is also the extra torque it has over the rotary - roughly 100lbs(ft). So your weight argument holds no water either.

Ever driven a rotary car, KpaBap? =)

The reason to keep the 13B in there isn't 'cause of the power so much as the rotary feeling... It's pretty hard to explain.

I build rotaries that don't blow up ..lol as for the weight the 13b is farther back which helps keep the lower center of gravity. I'm a hardcore rotary guy but it is his car he can do what ever he wants with it, good luck .

try getting a 302 to rev up to 10,000 rpm's ..lol

Also, the V8 can make just as much power without having to be wrung out past 10k rpm. The rotary arguments always sound a lot like the ricer honda kids "OMGZ ME ENGIAN CAN SPINZ UP TO 9000 VTECs HELLZA FASTS DOODZ"

Who cares, who wants to wait till 6000rpm later until you get power.

And, OMGZ TEH ROTORYA FEELAING OMG ITZ SMOOTH LIKE BUTTAR AND LIEK REVS AND STUFF ----> OMG MY VTEC FEELS HELLA NICE WHEN IT KICZ IN FOO

umm o.k, i'm not arguing with the guy i don't really care what he puts into his own car, i am just corrected you on what you said about the weight

lol thanks guys, i wasnt meaning for this to get to be a flameing against rotary motors at all!!! i enjoy selling parts to them guys!!! nothing worng with a rotary i just took a rode more traveled.

haha nice, we have a guy here locally that has about a 95 or so year model black one with a damn LT1 under the hood. I saw him feather the throttle a little one night, and damn talk about drift mode. I dont think i would want a car like that. too light with too much power. but i would like to ride in it to see how crazy the guy is that puts that engine into that car.
