Rattle!!

Has anyone had any issues with loud rattles coming from under the hood when turning on the car? It seems like its been getting louder and im beginning to worry.

Does it continue after you start it at all?

Any more description on the rattle?


If you have a warrenty get it to the dealer ASAP. Get it to anyone actually.

My warranty is up. The Rattle is a mechanic sound(loud) and only lasts about 2 seconds only when I crank her on. Motor still runs great without issues.

If you have an upgraded TMIC, that's a possibility, mine rattles at start up.

My warranties up cause my milage.
I have a stock tmic(could be loose...ill check).
Ive had and corksport MM insert without any problems for almost a year now.

I know it can be anything but, was just wondering if anyones delt with anything similar so I can narrow down the troubleshooting. Thanks guys.

Mine has a weird whine when I turn sometimes. It did it when I first bought it. The dealer couldn't find the problem when I took it in. It still does it sometimes. Sounds line a whinny grown.
