rar40941's build thread

You get what you pay for, again I am not trying to be a dick but do it the right way first. The way civic killer is saying to do it would look bad ass. Save up and do it correctly or you'll pay for it later. I am pulling for you too cause its something no one has done but dont be cheap just to say you did it.

Ya I agree with u man I will try to do to the best I can with it it's going to be hard but I will try too man

just saying if you dont do it right the first time you will have to do it again which will cost you even more if you would have just done it right to begin with. i know this from personal experience even if you have to wait a little longer than you wanted. thats why i havnt went turbo yet. patience is one thing thats important

edit: honestly i would say to go away from the hella flush look or whatever its called and stay away from it how much money and hassle has it cost you already? its for show cars not daily driven cars

when we do give advice its shrugged off man, because noobs come in thinking they know more, theres a good mix of assholes and nice people on here. me personally...i make things work, by figuring out what wont. so thats how i relay ideas to people.

you want some advice rar? if you want to make those wheels fit, and your going to spend the money on a shop mounting flares. save your money, go to a GOOD body shop and tell them to pull your fenders. i think thats what you should have done in the first place. Instead of buying new flares to creat arcs, use your stock arcs, cut, extend, fill in, smooth and paint. I suggest this because i do body work.

this is the s*** right here!

I daily drive my car to man but ya I need to save more money and then do this slow and safe so I don't **** up lol

I don't know if DGM still got that fender flare kit they made way back. It might be better

and the roads in charlotte are nice and smooth too. or atleast the ones i was on i dont remeber seeing any bad roads

lol you obviously werent in charlotte very long. Theres a difference between driving through charlotte, and living in charlotte. We drive our cars everywhere in charlotte and trust me, there are terrible roads

i wasnt in charlotte for long i was in mooresville for the most part and stanley? kind of like a ghetto or atleast the part i was in, it started with an s. i plan on going back for a weekend this summer just cause i liked the area

yea dude it would def look good BUT RAR think about this....

1.if you buy these your gonna assume they make the wheel well wider, but how much wider.... who knows your wheels might be sunk idk

2.its fiberglass, or even if you get CF,if you go lower one SLIGHT contact from rim or tire and POOF, whole arc ****** up.

Yea, its a nice area for sure. Most people like it here

Ya I know there fiber glass that's y I won't go much lower also I am going to get a stiffer spring rate in the rear so I don't go down as much when u hit bumps

have you considered getting a different set of wheels so that you can just stick the wider ones on when your showing it off or at a car show?

no i mean...like...not be an idiot that has to worry about hitting every tiny bump in the road if your gona do it than dont make other drivers suffer because you have to worry about every small bump in the road

im pretty sure he doesnt care about that kind of stuff...if he did he never wouldve started these types of mods to his daily...
