that doesnt look like an OE steering wheel
Why sell the beautiful CF interior pieces to buy a QR hub?
When I swapped a Sparco on I had to delete the clock spring, airbag and horn. There must be a way to retain these features (but for the airbag) but it wasn't worth the money for an aftermarket wheel IMHO.
Sorry for crapping up your thread, Corey.
Did you find the split Tech-Flex on eBay you were asking about?
My input on a QR hub is don't bother unless you want to remove the wheel for anti-theft purposes or go with a full halo seat that intrudes severely into the window opening. I thought I would need mine when installing the roll cage, but found out that with the standard seat I don't ever remove it unless I have the car parked in a sketchy location. I don't have any problem getting in the car with the wheel in place so removing it would be unnecessary hassle and possible problem if I didn't get the wheel back on correctly.
edit: The more important reason not to do it is that it does add some slop to the steering wheel (at least with my cheap Jegs version). Not in rotation, but I can wiggle the wheel side to side a little which doesn't feel as nice as a solid connection.
No pic.
+1 for anti-black wheels! I like em.
Yeah, the whole black wheels is getting old with me too. I like white, but not on titanium so that leaves me with bronze, silver, or gunmetal for the MSP.
