Ractive Air Intake Purchase Question

I'm looking to purchase a Ractive air intake but had a quick question. Everywhere I look it seems that they only sell the piping w/o the filter. According to the website the kit is supposed to come with the filter. Should I not even worry about this since the filter isn't worth anything anyways? Does anyone know what model K&N filter is compatible? I'm trying to keep the cost down so the purchase gets approved by the girlfriend.....
