RacerX SPonsorship

Just a little edit.
In the contract package, there is no T-Shirts, no stickers. Just papers.....

I'm still uncertain if this company is trustful.
Paying 79$ in advance seems not a good start, I worry that they have stricks behind like Protege5Guly said (UP to 52%, yes, up to & free shipping? probably not!) , and I end up lose the 79$US for nothing!

The stickers and shirt are actually mailed out weeks after the packet is mailed out. You will receive a seperate pack with that in it. Just dont sign the contract, and call them and tell them you would like to decline after reading the contract and tell them to refund you the $$

Pe@ce

Thanks for the info, Protege5Gurly.
I recieved my contract for almost a month, still haven't recieve the stickers!!

yeah I recieved all the crap, I need to call and tell them to give me 79$

That is one ****** up scam. You people need to hold on to your money and get info before paying out. I hope you people get your money back.

man i was about to do that sponser s***, lucky i didnt. you always see there ads in the import mag. and to enter to win skyline gtr.

don't do it...it's too good to be true.

the only real way to get sponsorship is to make portfolio and proposal to the company that you wish to be sponsored by.

companies want to know that you will do your part before they'll reach into their pockets.

All I know is RacerX stole about 75$ from me without asking, or recieving any signed contract from me.

same here...never received the package about signing or anything
but my $75 is gonner..

Same s*** happened to me. I spoke with some dude and demanded my money back. I told him I did not send in my contract nor receive anything from them (t-shirt and sticks). He told me if my account remains inactive for six months the $78 is put back to the card. I am waiting on this and if it doesn't happen, will threaten with legal action. Oh, he said why don't I stay with a sponsorship and he'll hook me up. I asked what he would do and he said what do you need...a turbo? I can hook you up with that and give you a discount. I told him turbos for the P5 were not common and really unlikely to be a great discount for me. He said he would apply the $78 towards it. Whoop dee ******* doo you DICK. RacerX sucks ass. Do not even look at their webpage. They suck. I am waiting for my money back so I don't have to deal with them any longer. peace.

DO NOT WAIT 6 MONTHS FOR YOUR $$!! TIME IS AGAINST YOU!

Ooh...bad news. This sucks. They are taking advantage of the people to whom they are selling parts.

Guys, you should never have to pay anything for sponsorship, or especially not up front.

Someone needs to take legal action NOW.

The thing they are wagering is that most people WON'T take action becase it's a minimal amount of money. What you can do is sue. Document everything. Take it to a lawyer. Sue for the amount of the sponsorship at least. Do SOMEthing.

If no one does, it will keep happening and other companies will follow suit on stealing from consumers. (no)

oh and the guy who-ever was talking to--trust me: he gets PAID to try to talk you out of wanting a refund. Those people have no conscience and will paint any kind of picture to delude you from the real subject at hand: they STOLE your money!!

Jeez...what is this world coming to?!

ALSO: The company who attains the info for this "sponsorship" website can be held liable for this theivery.

don't sit down and take this abuse! I work for a law office. believe me I have seen many lawsuits for this kind of crap!

Alright, what is the first thing I need to due to start the law process? I want my ******* money back from these assholes. Btw, is it me or do your pics in your posts just keep getting hotter? Peace.

<sigh> I'd like to hear more about what people were told about parts prices and special orders etc. They've approached me also, but seemed very genuine and informed me they had 3 MSP's already in for their "deeply discounted" Spool FMIC's. I wonder if Spoolin' can verify any of this?

I see. I had a few doubts at first but after numerous phone calls I was unable to catch them in a lie. I tried to ask the same questions several different ways to see what responses I get and everything seemed kosher. They appeared to very genuine and I could even hear someone working on a car in the background. Out of all these negative posts did anyone actually TRY to get parts from them? They swore to me on the phone that ANYTHING I need (even custom handmade pistons) would be no problem. I made sure to verify they could get them even though it wasn't an "off the shelf" part. I was re-assured again. Just wonering if anyone actually tried to follow through with placing orders???

You shouldnt have to "pay" for a sponsorship. The crap they give about you earning it back on shipping charges is bull.

Ill scan the contract they sent me, and post it. Not stocked items, you gotta pay shipping to thier store, THEN to your house. Its just not worth it matty. Build your MSP more, then put together a nice proposal, (you can find many sites that explain how to do this) together, and send it in to REAL companies. :D

Just a quick update. I contacted the Better Business Beureau. They are rated as "Satisfactory" meaning every complaint in the past three years has been resolved without any legal action taken. This (in my opinion) speaks very highly. I can't imagine a company with this many pissed of "customers" wouldn't have at least a few complaints registered with the BBB.
