Raced a wrx in MS3

i think what they are really saying is, they need to make a ms3 that has awd...now that would be my dream

Then it wouldn't be any faster than a WRX from a roll. AWD is both a benefit and a detriment. AWD has more paracitic loss through the drivetrain. When you have to split your power up across 4 wheels a lot more is lost in regards to power AT THE WHEELS. It does however make it almost unstoppable from a dig with anything less than an exotic super car- most of the times even they can't keep up in a short jaunt from a dig.

It's proven the MS3 is faster from a roll than a WRX but that isn't necessarily true with the EVO and STi. These cars are trapping over 115mph in the 1/4.

i'd rather have it be awd then be faster from a rolling start...but thats my preference

Of course I can't disagree. It's fun getting to 60 in 4 seconds. On the other hand I rarely have the change to truly run really fast on the highway- fear of the police and tarnishing my perfect record. Hit the gas in 4th gear and it takes you from 60 to 125 pretty quick...even for an AWD vehicle. I say "125" because that is the speed I tend to hit when I gun it at highway speeds before I notice how f'ing fast I'm going. (ughdance)
