Wow! looks amazing, huge improvement from when you first got it! Love to hear a video clip of the exhaust under load :)

Thanks! I still need a tune. This whole exhaust or deal is a pain. The exhuast I need for the headers I have the company has stopped making. And its very hard to even find a used one. I cant wait until the car is tuned. Its starting to feel slow now.
 
It's time I update this thread. I did some motor work in the heads over a month ago and had it tuned. Replaced the valve springs with stronger ones, changed the pushrods, and replaced all the valve seals to take care of my oil burning situation. Put in new high flow cats with x-pipe which I had the company custom made for me. The car put out 388HP at the wheels. And 361tq. Its pulls like a rocket now. Its even more insane on a nice cool day with all that air forcing up into the ram air. I am sure its putting out over 400 at highway speeds with the ram air. It can hit triple digits very quickly and pulls from 50 as if it was at a standstill.

So here are the most recent up to date pictures of the car. Looking back now at the pics when I bought the car it looks so ugly! BUt i have done a lot to it since the last posting of pictures..

The new look.

Put on some new tires last week and slammed the front as low as it will go and dropped the rear another inch to match. Painted the roof and mirrors black. I also painted ont he stripes to the fenders.

Since the last post the oil pump siezed up on the motor. I bought a brand new LS6 long block and swapped it out. Added a new ls7 clutch, flywheel, slave, and master cylinder. Got the ECU tuned. No dyno numbers but the car definetly makes great power with this fully bolted LS6. I would say a little faster than the old motor which made 388. I would guess this one is close to 400whp.

Looks good but when are you going to get that side scoop thing molded in by the rear tires... it looks like a after tought

It's on the list. Either I am going to try and do it myelf or pay a ton at a body shop. Install time on these is about 20 hours labor. Which they need to be pulled off and repositioned.

Finally got around to molding them in and painting a couple weeks ago. Just finished up with wet sanding and polishing last night.

Looks better. I saw a yellow one last night at a local meet. It is nice but a Yellow Corvette. It just screams arrest me. I like the subtle black of my car; it's harder to identify.
 
Definetly, though i don't have much problems with the law. I try to drive like I have sense. Though the window tint can't be avoided. I can't hide.
 
Just popped back in to check on everyone. Car is looking and sounds like its running good man. My LS1 is on its last leg lol. Which heads did you end up going with? Im going to try and find me a set of 243 heads (factory LS6) and build them with a nice custom cam and a rear mount turbo setup.


Edit: Btw the molded side vents look absolutely SICK. Love it man.

Thanks, I went with new stock LS6 engine. Found out my last motor had ported heads. Good luck with your engine. You should put down some serious power with those heads, cam, and a turbo.
 
Thanks, I also picked up an iron block 6.0L short block over the weekend. Im shooting for around 700whp on e85. :)
