Question about the low fuel light

Does anyone know how much gas is left when the light goes on? The manual doesnt say. It also says there its a 15 gallon tank. On my second fillup the light was on, I filled it with 11.5 gallons. 3.5 gallons left in the tank when the light comes on. Seems like a lot. Any input? Thanks in advance.

Mine comes on around 3 gallons, and if you run really low on gas it'll throw a CEL. I actually got one the other day, and then only put in around 11 gallons. I was annoyed.

i'm gonna have to get a 1gal gas can and run my tank dry, just to see how far i can really go

yeahi have learned that the light goes on between 11 and 11.5. t seems it depends a lot on how you drive, im driving fast it seems to come up earlier, sort of accounting for me getting like 24mpg. I stopped worrying about it though, i have tried to run it as much as possible with the light on and have managed to put almost 13 gallons.

13.5 was my max and I was sweating it, long curvy highway with no where to pull off and no gas stations for like 10 miles...

i try to shoot for a certian milleage then fill up sometimes it takes 12 sometimes it takes 13+ depends on how heavy my foot was lol....
