does anyone have any opinion of pyle's quality or farenhiet all i want is a aimple DVD player for the car thats is i already have the moniter with am/fm picked out and all i want is the DVD player part becuase i really dont wanna pay a s*** load of money for something so simple as a DVD player (i also need it for the CD player hehe) thanks people for you help!

Hee hee, I was thinking the same thing. Crutchfield used to carry them, but not any more. They do have Audiobahn. Haven't heard anything about Farenheit good nor bad.

I picked up a Pyle DVD Player/TV Tuner off of Ebay last year for under $100, and 2 7" LCD monitors (also manufactured by Pyle) for about $70 a piece. The quality isn't bad considering that I got a complete DVD setup for under $300, and it's perfect for keeping the kids occupied.
The only complaint that I have with the DVD player is that sometimes it fails to read a DVD when it is initially inserted into the deck, typically ejecting the DVD and reinserting solves the problem.
If you're looking for high end quality you're gonna have to pay for it. But, if you just want a basic system that doesn't cost a fortune Pyle can get the job done.

yea im mostly looking for the apreance so i dont have a huge hole in the double din the top has the moniter radio and i just want a simple dvd player to fit under that

pyle is... well... a pile.. please concider jumping off a cliff before buying, it will save you some time and money, anywho teh best win is LANZAR WOOHOO!!

As stated above Pyle is a Pyle, used to be a good name that has been sold over the years and is only a name any more. Farenhietis just as bad. I used to have to remove so much of both for defects that it was a joke and I would have customers sign a waiver before I would put it in their cars.

their ratings are a joke too, says 1200W its in reality 25W RMS with 50% THD

farenheit is a good brand as far as tvs go and so is nesa which is the tvs i bought. ill go take pictures if you want. the picture is very sharp.
