Put MP3 Into Tree Today

Taking some backroads today and for once I was actually driving at a slow speed. Well unfortanately somebody was turning out of their driveway around a blind turn. It was t-bone them or slide off the road and try to regain control. I thought I was going to pull it off but once I slid back onto concrete the car started spinning. Clipped a rock on the other side of the road and it spun me sideways into a tree. Thank god I was wearing my seat belt or I might not be so lucky. I hit the tree going about 35mph. It looks like I will be able to repair the car, but that depends on how much frame damage there is. Best part was the lady who caused me to slide off the road never even turned around to see if I was alright, what a b****.

Yeah it was to her house. I gave the police a description of the car and the address where she lived at (since we were about 50 feet away from it). I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to make sure I am alright. My back is pretty damn sore right now, but I think it is fine.

bad part about this was the intercooler was still on the car. I had actually planned to remove it tomorrow on my day off. It was basically crushed in half.

This is the second Protege I have owned that could possibly be totalled. Trying to keep my spirits up right now since I know last time the situation worked out for the best. Worst part was as I was sitting waiting on the police I thought to myself, well looks like I can finally get that WRX I have been wanting.

Ouch man, I'm very sorry to hear it. That sucks about the intercooler too. I wish you the best of luck and hope that she runs out of gas in bum-screwed-Egypt and no one gives her help!!!

What really sucks is that there is a guy that lives just 3 houses down from me with an MP3 and he has beat this car all to hell. He really doesn't take care of it at all. I just wanna go down there and b****-slap him and take his car....or at least his swaybars, ecu, wheels, springs, shocks.....

Went and checked out the car today at the collission center. Pretty sure it is going to be totalled. The front driver side part of the frame is completely fubared. All 4 tires were slashed during the crash from bouncing off the rock. Just waiting on insurance now to get back to me on the value.

I guess I should finally call and get my production number so we know which one is gone for good.

No more Proteges for me. I'm afraid if I keep driving one that I will eventually end up dead. Just need to find myself something nice now, no performance cars or anything. I'm ready for just a normal car.
