houston was up 4-2 in game five of the division series. it was the top of the 9th (home game) with 2 outs and 2 strikes. 1 strike away from clinching a world series spot for the first time ever for the astros. lidge ***** up and ends up facing pujals with 2 men on base. second throw......pujals just knocks the crack out of it. cards take lead. entire crowd goes dead silent. one of my friends was there. she said it was as if the whole crowd lost thier puppy all at the same time. astros loose the game. so now our guys will have less rest when we take on chicago. but it will be great to spank the cards on thier home field. slap in the face.

The game

Yes the game was very disappointing while i was at work watching it, everyone was screaming towards the end of the game when we had that leg up. Then that ball was caught and everyone was got silent then started screaming and left.

We were so freakin close to clinching a world series.......one damn pitch. s*** happens......Oswalt should hold them down though, he beat them once on there turf already.....we can do it again.

PUJOLS just showed you guys what a real HOME RUN looks like. Berkman's pussy home run went maybe 340' to that kiddie league left field. Pujols shot was in the upper deck at any ballpark for 450-470', that thing was still going up. The new Astro-killer!!!!!!

Just remember what Oswalt did to you guys in game 2.......its happening again. Houston is going to throw all there best pitchers in this next game. Its very unfortunate what happened, and the Cardinals were desperate......they just got lucky.

The Stro's have been lucky every game. Some finally came STL's way, and, it's probably going to stay that way. Cardinal bats are just coming alive!!!!!!!

Cardinals will also have their starting 3b, EL NUNEZ, back in the lineup, and Houston didn't exactly light up Mulder in game 2 either.

It should be exciting either way....I'll be there to witness it all!!!
