Protege 5 Rear Brake Help

SOLVED.......

Well it turns on the lower caliper slide pin was rusted tight, there was a crack in the plastic cover. We ended up loading it with Liquid Wrench, letting it soak it for a bit. Once that didn't work, we took a small torch and heated up the bolt. The bolt eventually came free!

It is now replaced as well as the cover and we are back in business. So much for a 2 hour job, turned into 3 days.

Thanks for everyones help.

Glad to hear you got it Fixed!!!!!!

I was thinking all along that you would find out that your bottom slider would be frozen up. Thats why I wanted to go out and look at my car. I jacked it up last night and took my rear caliper apart and was going to take pics for you and then I just thought it would be easier if I just called you. Anyway my drivers side rear just got re-lubed hahahaha not a bad thing
