Protege 5 16" rims fit on MS3?

I need a set of winter wheels & tires for my MS3.... I know the 16" Mazda 3 OEM wheels will fit on my MS3 however, they are hard to find around here.

I could get a screaming deal on set of 16" rims that came on the Protege 5 models but have no clue as to the specs on them. Would they fit? And what offset do they have?

Not sure if they would fit....P5 stockers are 16x6 with a +50 offset.

I spoke with a rep at discounttiredirect and his recommendations for you guys with the MS3 is a 16x6.5 +45 offset or 16x7 +50 offset.

Is it possible that you can test fit them before buying?

my 16x6 steelies didn't clear. You'd need something like 16x6.5 as stated.

Is that due to the rim design or the caliper wont fit inside the wheel?

The front rotor is 12.1" Sounds kinda close to me.
