Prosport premium electric boost gauge questions

I just installed my boost gauge but my question is when it's idle it reads like -10lbs, is that normal readings? I searched on here to see where to hook the line to and it said from the top nipple on the BPV to the intake manifold, if I'm wrong can someone please post proper way. Also I hooked the constant to the fuse for interior lights and the amber tothe cig. so when I turn my car on the gauge does it's opening then on and then off. Any other suggestions.

Thats because when you are at ilde, the car is in vacuum. This reading a negative value on your boost gauge.

Oh, ok makes sense, I was just out of it. Thanks for the info it seems to be working fine.

You really should be seeing -20 or so if you're just idling at a light.

Incorrect.
depends on the unit of measure, 24 inches of mercury is roughly 11psi if my math is correct. So -10 is fine.

Yes, -20 PSI...I have the same gauge so I thought all of them read PSI, but if he's got a different unit of measure on there then it should be the equivalent of 20 PSI.
