It's nice that Takata finally came out with a set of harnesses that didn't cost Yakuza fingers to get, but I think they look kinda just that... Cheap... You get what you pay for I guess.

Edit: I guess I didn't look close enough I'm assuming these are the Drift III which are still up there. Guess I'm not digging the new color scheme and standard seat belt buckle but I'm sure the green and black will grow on me...

You are correct. These are Drift III, 3inch. Quality seems very good and not sure why you think they look cheap? I actually think the look better than the old Green ones, which I've seen real ones. Also, the big reason for going with the standard buckle is because they are street legal. If you are a hardcore racer and require camlock, Takata still offer camlock. But most people on here, I doubt would need those.

Just not use to this variance on the iconic Green that's all, like I said I'm sure they'll grow on me... Cheap may have been the wrong term I suppose they just look "off" compared to the original ya know...

i understand.. I think Takata is trying to capture this market by offering options and also change things up because there are so many fakes out there. Like I said, I like these belts as they are street legal.

I'm debating about the interior and test fit the Takata Harness on the Spirit R Recaros.

Let me know what you prefer?

Also, got my VS-XX refinished/powder coated and put new Toyo T1-Sport tires. I've heard great things about these and can't wait to test them out.

**They are not going on this 3 rotor project car**

I prefer the other interior setup. I've seen way to many red recaro with the takata setup. And those wheels are really nice.

Past couple of days, I decided to strip off my spare RZ hub assemblies and fix up the rotor back plates and such.

My good friend Bryan from BNR Supercars is going to let me use his cabinet to blast the rust and such off so I can get the prettied up today.

Also, I received some goodies from Turbonetics.
