ok, so actually made some progress over the weekend (only took how long)
Decided to just pull the engine to take it to the welder which will probably end up being easier. Plus it allows me (or makes) replace all the vacuum and fuel lines which are cracked and old (i broke plenty of them lol)
Pulled the intake manifold and the "spiders nest" with some help from my brother. Gotta pull a few more things till its ready to come out....

You unbolting the trans and everything else this weekend? Make sure you have a 4x4 and some chain...also make sure the 4x4 is long enough to span the width between the fenders as you can support the engine with it.
