Huge price break in Procarparts.com indiglo gauges, they used to be 44.99, now they are 22.95.

WHAO cheap, any one planning on getting them? nice! - chris

I think i might get them, they will go with the rest of my interior lighting scheme :D

But how about installation? Can a body shop do it? I'm too chicken sh*t to do it myself after the horror stories I've heard.

They will fit, but beware, i got mine, and they DO NOT fit over the needles. You have to slit them enough to slide them over the needles. I will post pics as soon as i can.

yes be VERY CAREFUL there have been a couple peple that have been lucky to get them on with out cutting or breaking anything. but i was one of the unfortenant ones that broke my fuel and temp gauge. i doint know about the fuel and temp. but the speedo and the tach needles will come off. when you are putting them back on just let the car idle for a 10 minutes and put the needle back on where your car normally idles (note check out your idle first) as for speed i would get along side a friend and have him go about 20 mph and put the needle on. ill will probably still be off a few mphs but not bad.

*****NOTE***** this is just how i would do it. I HAVE NEVER done it this way so what i am saying is all theory. i might get a new set and try it so i dont have the cuts in mine.

Indiglo gauages

Well I just bought a pair and I was wondering if anyone figured out a way to put these on without cutting or breaking the gauges. I seen some people on here looks like they did a good job. I put some on my friends mustang and they broke and would not go back to the same spot. I dont want to do that with mine. Lata Corey

When I broke my needle, it didn't snap or something, it sorta popped off. Now its stuck on there and twitches, but i don't know if it is supposed to be able to pop off like that. So right now, its sitting at running temp. For those of you who have broken needles, how did they break?

The needle does not break, it is the shaft into the gauge. It simply breaks in half. If you barely tweak the needle in the wrong direction (which is just about any direction) it will pop off. The needle for the temp/fuel ARE NOT made to come out!! DO NOT try to pry them off like any other car out there. This is the shittiest setup for gauges I have ever dealt with. I went through 2 used clusted just to end up with a non working Temp gauge, still and always at operating temp:rolleyes:

Thats exactly how mine is right now. I barely touched it to see if i'd slit it enough to slide it over, and pop, it came off in my hand. It looks like it should be able to go back on, but it doesn't. I figure i can live with that until i get my turbo, then maybe just re-route the temp gauge to a gauge in the pillar pod or something.
Or else get a new cluster.. haven't decided yet.
