Problems With Your Msprotege?

I'd like to list a few of my problems with my Mazdaspeed Protege.

1. Breaks went out at 4,000 miles... (I bought it brand new)
2. Computer Chip Error
3. Suspension Problem
4. Head Unit going IN AND OUT CONSTANTLY!
5. Engine Wheezing-
6. Cracked Exhaust Manifold

Please- tell me, have any of you experienced any one of these probelms, and can you also tell me if I can expect anything new in the future? I WOULD BE SO THANKFUL!

good sticky on problems associated with the MSP.

personally, i've only dealt with busted radio (bought a Pioneer one to replace) and suspension squeaking (rear bushings were replaced).

Those are your ONLY problems???? Keep searching that link from chop... you have so, so many more to look forward to....

there is always something bugging me with mine, from HU to the ECU to the clunk to well it goes on but all these things can be corrected easily. The car is still worth it regardless of its quirks if you got a good deal on it and live near a twisty backroad.
