Problems with AT Grills

:
none
It's been a nightmare trying to get my grill from AT Grills. I know that other people have had problems as well. So you might want to custom make your own or wait for another manufacturer if you were considering getting one of these. I finally had to cancel my order.

The following are all the transactions that I have had with them.

November 21st - Ordered the grill from their website using paypal. Didn't receive any response from them.

November 30th - Sent an email asking them if they received my order. No response. But $70 was charged to my credit card on this date.

Dec 2nd - Sent another email.

Dec 3rd - Received an email from them saying that they shipped the grill and gave me a tracking number. Checked the tracking number, but it wasn't registered.

Dec 5th - Sent an email stating that the tracking number wasn't registered. Their response: "Ummmmmmm - I don't know what to tell you. Try waiting a few days."

Dec 7th - Still not registered. Sent them another email stating that it still wasn't registered. Their response: "Call Andrew at 514-425-5390 or 514-575-7772 for more info"

Dec 8th - 10th - Called everyday asking for Andrew (Long Distance) - but every time, he wasn't home.

Dec 11th - Sent an email telling them to cancel my order - Still no response, and no refund on my credit card yet.

I strongly urge everyone to reconsider doing business with these people.

has anyone actually gone through with putting this on their car even after they see it??? Mp3's and P5's come from the factory with style! My oppinion about this grill is that it will take style away from the cars!!!

when a good grill comes out we will know!!! but until then painting the factory or waiting is a better choice.

the only thing I can think of worse than the ATgrille would be to give a 1st grader some mesh and a bottle of paste then to tell them to use their imagination to make a grille!!!
I have said it before and I'll say it again

I'm not!!! BITTER!!! at all about this topic!

okay maybe a little!

Guruuu!!!!!

i think the only good looking grill out there in the market is the autoexe one...thats about it... im thinking of getting that after the new years...

I actually got one from AT grills  stupid me! I actually do have it on my car right now, but it won't be on too much longer...I'm trying to at least make myself think that I didn't spend all that money for nothing...
My whole order process took a couple months also, but I didn't feel like trying to get back a paypal payment (as I'm pretty sure its impossible...) This whole ATGrills thingis such a scam, obviously run by a couple of punks...Please avoid it at all costs. I've had a bunch of other posts regarding these j/o's...I won't bore you all anymore

Hey ........for the atgrille.......what exactly did u get? and to install it, what did u have to do? Cuz I was thinking of just getting a wire mesh like from HomeDepot and puttin it on, since thats what the atgrille looks like........so if you could explain how to install it, it would really help

i got me an atgrille also...had no problems w/getting them and unfortunately i have it still on my car also...not a good idea cause they say its cut to fit...they are full of s*** on that...had to cut it myself to fit my mp3 and now it looks bad cause its rusting up and it scratched the factory plastic grille..so i suggest on not getting one and for the price...if you do like them then do like 123zoom is saying and just get something from home depot or something...also do a search for grilles..some guy on here bought some stuff you put on the top of gutters to keep the leaves out and his turned out pretty good if you like that kinda thing...let me see if i can get the link for ya

yea, that looks good, but how do u install it? do u have to take off ur stock grill or just put it over top? do u have to take off the bumper for teh bottom grill? how does it stay in place.........and i'm guessin u just take off teh mazda symbol and put it on after the installation......i have a silver 02 MP5

not sure man...you might want to pm him or something...they top grille you can take off easily and the bottom grille you will have to do some kinda wedging urself under ur car if you dont have any stands or anything like me...or just jack the thing up or something cause my car had clips all over on the bottom grille that you had to unclip so you could take it off...but how he made it not sure man...and the mazda embelm doesnt come off as far as i know i think he just did a really good job on putting the vinyl on it. but you cant beat 13 bucks for a grille compared to there 70 or whutever they charge now.

well...i have to do some slight mods to it...just cut a few things here and there so that it would lay across it and it just lays over the old grille...i couldnt get either the top or bottom off so we just put it on while it was on the car...also it comes with like a piece of wire to kinda twist tie it on the other grille which i think sucks too...but oh well..i didnt pay for the grille it was a gift but still...not worth paying that much and you still have ot cut it some to fit...just my opinion

did u put the grill right on top of the mazda symbol? i have a silver MP5, how would a grill look on it? does nebody have ne pics

123...it is cut out to fit around the mazda symbol in the grille and it has a little insert for the top part inside the circle and a little one for the bottom on the inside of the circle...also just goto www.atgrilles.com and they have a pic of a midnight blue p5 i think...not sure bout the color but its of a p5

#1. i too did the home depot method, i will have some pics of ti soon, i opted to leave the mazda emblem off of it (it is now laying in the trunk with my spare.)
#2. i also want the autoexe grill someday but i haven't had the $$$$ lately to spend on it.
#3. going back to RX-KEVIN's reply i've heard from a few friends that asylum deals in stolen goods. (I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS TRUE THIS IS A RUMOR THAT I HAVE HEARD). but i do no for a fact that they have crappy service, so i agree with your reply.

at grilles do suck

they do suck all they are is homedepot crap put together and they are ridiculously priced save you money and make yourself one. but i think our cars look better without it
