Where can I get some 93 octance south of the cities preferably the Burnsville, Apple Valley, Rosemount, Lakeville area, the McStop used to have it in Lakeville but they downgraded to 92, can anyone help?

I have yet to find i 83 octane in Burnsville and Apple Vally, even at the BP's

if I do, I'll be sure to post where and I hope you'd do the same (thumb)

same here.. i use to find it at holiday stations but lately it has only been 92 octane...

This is weird is Minnesota switching to nothing but 92 now? Like California or somethin, I would be very pissed if this happens.

I try to allways get gas at Holiday in Bloomington. They have 93. If I can't get it there, I get it at Holiday in Arden Hills by my house which has 92. If I do get 92 though, I'll stop at my brothers work, Bobby & Steves Mobil gas station and put in a gallon or 2 of 111 to help out a bit.

California only has 91, sucks to be them.

BP 92 is better gas than Holiday 93. Holiday gas is so oxyginated and full of detergents, it isn't your best choice. Search it out on MNSC and look at all the issues people have with holiday gas.

This will not affect you at all. Even at 91 octane, your car will have no issue. My car will be tuned to 500+ whp on 92 octane gas and yours is basically stock and you have issue with it? If octane does become an issue, tune for 100+ octane race fuel and call it a day.

Interesting...I'll look at MNSC.

What about Exxon, any idea on that?

Mobile fuel is OK, though I tend to stick to BP because of the availability. MN street rod association also has a list of stations that sell non-oxy fuel so that is another alternative. I also can advise people to shy away from Shell as they have tons of detergents.

All that said, for the most part, 99.9% of you on this board, MNSC, the 350Z boards I frequent, etc will not have an issue with any local stations and their premium fuel whether it is 91, 92, or 93. As long as their isn't water in their tanks, you won't notice a bit of difference unless you are specifically tuned for said octane level; and even then it really isn't a huge issue.

I know all of you want to treat your car right, but when it comes down to it, 92 vs 93 discussions are comical unless you have a true need for it. In all honesty, neither Tom or I even have a true need for searching out 93 octane pumps - built motors, fair amount of boost, advanced EMS, and all.
