problem with intake

i cant take the plastic thing inside the wheel well that goes around the wheel so i cant put the filter on tight on my injen cai.........does anyone know how i can take it off......i tried unscrewing it but it wont work... o yeah i have a p5

You dont have to take the whole thing off to get a filter in. Start at the screws located above the tire and work your way to the front of the car. I think there is about 5 to 7 of little black plastic things that they like to call tack fasteners. You will have to remove some bolts under the front left of the bumper as well. I think it needs a 10mm socket. Turn you wheels hard to the left and pull down on the one piece plasic guard you are trying to remove. This will give you enough room to push in a filter from under the bumper area. I hope this helps.

heres the 3 screws........theres 5 more at the bottom and
you should be able to reach it.....

you can just undue the bolts on the bottom and reach up in there. thats what ogsk8er showed me

i took my whole damn bumper off...im a pro it takes me like 10 minutes to get the bumper off now.
