problem when i turn right corner

I own a MP 1992 1.8 SOHC standard. When I turn right with a half-tank, the car wants loose power, i put gaz on the floor, during 5-10seconds, nothing happened. My dad think I've a problem with my intake. But I don't think so.

Sound like you have a broken baffle in you gas tank so when you take corners the fuel in the tank swooshes to the left away from the fuel pump pickup causing a lose of power, I have seen this before and also the baffles are plastic and break pretty easily on older cars so that would be my best bet, which means you probably got to replace the whole tank

Kinda little bit expensive! But you're probably right, because, when i'm below half-tank the car rush. When it's under the half-tank, the car works good. (spin)

water in gas tank!!!!!!!!!

I'm very familiar with this problem. I had it and modified the fuel pump and it corrected the problem 80%. That let me know it was the fuel pump. I recommend you call all the auto parts stores in your area and buy the cheapest one. If it doesn't come with the strainer, buy it separately. The strainer is the filter that's attached to the fuel pump but I'm NOT talking about the fuel filter that's you just pull off the store rack or that the counter guy pulls for you from the shelf in the back. If you need more detail to prove that it's the fuel pump, let me know.

When I had that problem, I let the car run like that for way more than the 2 months and a half since his last post. He may still need the help.

Oh, crap! I didn't notice the year! Since the last post said 2006, I didn't notice the original(first) post was from 2005. Well, it may help someone that does a search with the same problem. However, I drove it almost a year like that. It's a problem you can live with if you just learn not to make sharp right turns. It's worse when you get on those really round expressway on ramps. The car shuts off. You learn how to do it according to the turn. Those on-ramps mean you go really slow. Otherwise, you drive normally everywhere else. I hereby sign out if no one asks a question.

even if they answer a year old question 3 times.

You often have a little poke like this on posts. Oh, well, that's ok. By the way, I solved a problem with my dad's 94 MPV doing a search instead of asking. However, I agree, searching more often wastes time than resolves the problem. Also, I came across the above remedy by doing a search on a Ford Escort forum too. Didn't I say I was signing out on this thread? Arghhhh!!!!
