Price for JIC Exhuast?

What did you pay for your JIC Exhuast?
Also was it an authorized retailer that carries JICs warrenty?

I have a Shop in town tht is a dealer and has it for sale for for $799. If there is a place cheaper that will ship for less overall and is an authorized seller let me know.

Are you getting the ST series with the titanium muffler or the SUS series with the stainless steel?

Oh yeah, for those with the JIC exhaust... That silencer inside the muffler looks really restrictive... any dynos or performance testimonials with it off and on?

Well I am going with the full stainless system and I know that MP3SkaterNC said that it is easily removed(silencer) but he said it wasn't really needed. I can agree with that as well. Wasn't obnoxiuosly loud at all. Actually one of the sweetest exhausts I have heard. And it is by far the prettiest. Yes I said prettiest, cause it is one of the best looking systems I have seen as far as quality of welds and hangers and everything. Well worth the money.

The $799 i listed was the ST system not the SUS.
Also since the dealer is in my town, no shipping required.

I am very curious about Warrenty!

I got qouted $799 for the ST which is a Stainless piping and a titanium muffler.
The other I got quoted was $620 for the SUS which is stainless pipes and stainless muffler.

thats a good deal because rishie has it at $650 shipped to me. Never asked about the Ti muffler. Love the look of it though. Same sound right???? I will most likely be ordering mine this week.

JIC just mentioned the titanium has a slightly different sound but other then that and weight there is no difference between them.

1 thing I checked and I really don't like is that the JIC has only a 90 day warrenty.
I guess I will go Borla for the warrenty.

We got the exhausts into smaller boxes so there is a little more savings on the exhaust systems. Shipping won't be as much. Let me know if you're still interested. I've had my JIC exhaust for over 90 days and haven't had any problems but I'm not in the snow area. I do believe it would withstand those conditions better than the other systems out there.

Is there state sales tax in New Hampshire? Is it like 5% or so. If so did this place include sales tax into your pricing?

We have no sales tax in NH. We Rule.
I just feel safer with the Borla warrenty as it is indefinite.
Especialy since the Bosal POS I had just fell off the car!

I just found that there is a Borla Distributer in my town so I will probably go that route unless someone has a really good price on the JIC and a MUCh better warrenty then just JIC provides.
90 days is a pathetic amount of time and shows no confidence in their own product!

Well I have a borla on my truck and can tell you that it has been there since 93 and is still going strong. Warranties are great and all but how many items have you bought with a warranty and actually used it. I know that there are a few times I have myself and it saved me but they are few and far between. I have seen the JIC in person and can tell you I think it is better quality than the Borla. not to mention looks better. All the welds are perfect and I have not heard a single bad complaint about them. I am still going to be ordering. So Rishie has the price come down from the $650 I was quoted?????? If it has you can write me up for one today. Seriously I will be ordering this week so let me know.

To me a factory warrenty is a confidence meter of the manufacturer of how long they think there product will last.
Only The shittiest of equipment comes with a 90 day warrenty.
Even my turbo kit had a 1 year warrenty from BEGI.
A company will only warrenty a product for as long as they feel it will hold up before the return numbers cut into profits. Apparently for JIC that is 90 days otherwise it would be longer.

I am not trying to convince you not to get the JIC I would too if my muffler hadn't just fallen off and I didn't live in New England.

I hear ya man, wasn't knocking you or anything and I understand what you are saying. Of course I hate bosal from previous experience anyways. Mine rusted in less than 2 weeks and when I called the company they basically said tough s***. So trust me I don't blame you one bit. If I had to worry about more rust then I may think twice. Cause like I said my trucks exhaust is going on 10 years and is still rumbling and looking good. Borla is a good product...just think it is more for muscle cars in my opinion, you know like V8s and maybe some V6s. God luck on whatever you decide on and don't forget to post pics.

I love the JIC becuase it looks awsome and is larger diameter pipe but 90 days. If the distrubutor or shop I get it from can give me ayear warrenty then I am in otherwise I can't risk it now.

oh my... i want a JIC exhaust but how much of an HP gain it to be expected?
also, i am N/A right now but i plan to eventually go turbo. which piping should i get if i decide to save my money up for it? im thinking about 2.75
