Pre Cat???? Please Help

My mechanic Told me my pre cat is bad. He said it's a pain to fix. What am i looking at here price whys. Can i buy just the pre cat or do i have to buy an exhaust manifold with the pre cat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Apon,

I'm assuming he was referring to what is actually called the upstream cat. It is part of a one piece manifold, cat, and silencer. Welding in a universal piece would likely be a very tough job. I wish you were closer as I could save you big bucks on the OE unit. You will likely have to replace the whole unit. Dealer list is 466.94 and dealer cost 280.11. I sell this to forum members for 322.13 but shipping would probably be an arm and a leg to get to you.
