Power seat motor noise.

The motor responsible for sliding the drive side forward and back has been making noises lately. Sounds like a damn jet. Going to have to take it in for service as I don't see any TSB up. Curious if anyone else has this issue.

Mine sounds bad. I'm not sure I'd describe it as sounding like a jet. Mine reminds me of the sound the seat makes in Trains, Planes and Automobiles, when Steve Martin is in the passenger seat, trying to readjust after John Candy had been tinkering with it. lmao

Different seats, different characters? I much rather it have the character of a normal power seat though. Its mood worsens when it gets cold.

Make sure there is nothing under the seat that requires more power to move it.

Get off the seat and adjust the power seats. Does it make the same noise? Less or worse?

Same with or without weight on the seat. Nothing is blocking it nor is anything caught in the track and motor spline. The noise is coming from the motor itself.
