When I was driving home last night I noticed a back window was down a bit so I put it up, Upon doing this I realized I could barely see the road. Well thats b/c anytime I raise or lower a window my headlights dim about 50%. Should this happen? I really hope not and if so I should have test drove the thing at night.

Help please.

they always do that.. roll one window up at a time.. my car only does it when i try to roll up 2 at a time.. i donno.. kinda lame but i deal with it

I see it if I hold the switch and it's already up or down. I don't know that I'd say 50% but it's visible. Holding the switch when it's already at the max is a lot like creating a short.

The power window motors are a pretty big drain on the engine. I have seen this in pretty much all cars. Try rolling up all the window at once and listen to the difference. It is just the way it is. On some cars it is more noticable. I think it was worse on my 2000 Altima.
