Yeah...Both designs are quite different though...The first one is more like an upscale...upgraded RX-8 and the 2nd one is more like an RX-7 concept on STEROIDS!

I dig both but I have a feeling it might be something totally different OR a blend of those two...Who knows...but I can't wait to find out!

i've heard that the first one isn't official...and is somewhat of a hoax - its been shown to be a photochop....

i believe that a crossfire or simillar was used as the initial image

Mmm..twin turbo would be cost too much at the pumps.If the 16x is as good as Mazda says it is,then I think that should be enough.If nothing else,a third rotor would be badass as well.

That's quite the statement Amp...Although you do have TWO!

I was talking with my Mazda Dealer friend and we both agree that while Mazda may have a RX-9 in the works...They are also playing it safe and seeing how the market flows...Money is still a bit tight at Mazda so they really have to be on the ball and focus on making their "bread & butter" models hot sellers...

So far word on the street is that the new Demio and Atenza are having no problems finding buyers here in Japan. (thumb)

The second pic is hot. Looks more like something Ferrari or Lamborghini would sell. But if Mazda actually brought it out based on that, the rims would be way smaller, car would be higher, and front grille would be much higher and more rounded off.

One side of me hopes that this car will be decently priced so it can be easier for me to buy.

The other side hopes that this car will be made to compete with that monster of a nissan GT-R coming out, and I would get one no matter the price.
