Post your relocated MAF/VTA BOV set up

Ahhhhhh I see said the blind man.. Lol.. But yeah I'm kinda excited to have my bov sound back, I mean it sounds almost exactly like stock just a little louder since I recirculated it, I mean I guess sound isn't everything, but when you upgrade you kinda expect a little from every perspective I guess lol

Putting the BOV by the turbo may not be good for it because of the heat, food for thought.

AnthonyMSP, if your whole reasoning for trying the BOV on the hot pipe is for a louder BOV sound...just buy a TurboXS RFL BOV lol

Lol well I guess we're all in a category of our own.. Smh lol.. But to answer your question EvilMonkey, no that's one of the lesser reasons, I've just been kinda looking into it and it just seems to make sense to let out the hot instead of the already cooled air, I've had my try with the bov on the cold pipe; vta, recirculated, and both, none really made me feel like it was the way to be for some reason, dk what reason, but just didn't seem right

Do it if that's how you feel. I am happy with it on the coldpipe and any advantage to having on the hotpipe would probably be pretty minor.

True, but I guess it can't really hurt to try it out, plus I guess every car is a little different so you never know..

-Corksport FMIC painted black and BOV flange welded custom
-MAF relocated approx. 18" from throttle body
-Synapse Engineering Sychronic BOV
-HOT pipe
-NO Turkey
-No leaks, spool is much better because of this BOV's opening/closing speed and the fact the boost keeps the valve closed under load

That looks really good!!^^ I actually just moved mine to the hot side today, it doesn't make the same sound pitch VTA as it did VTA on the cold but it is pretty loud, have a little turkey but not too bad, I need to get better T-bolts and a better coupler; got a crap set off of eBay that messed up.. Take pics soon:)

M4N B4G, you need to replace those stock motor mounts, will make a huge difference with that new motor.

I have the AWR front and rear mounts I think they're the 90's too. hella stiff vibrates the the steering wheel at idle

s*** well the side mounts are still stock! The passenger and front are the weakest and typically fail first, mine were both completely toast.

I shoulda got new motor mounts when I replaced my engine... I had the money and everything.. But I figured, and my buddy/mechanic, that since it's my daily and nothing was wrong with them; not to buy stiffer ones..

Well I kinda feel like the side ones don't do s***. Since the engine torque twists front to back.

I can see why its quieter pointing down like that. Mine is facing the hood, pretty loud and its only on stock boost for now. Looks good hella hidden.
