post up pix of your lowered protege!!!!

2008 - 2003 = 5 years. haha.

idk, I got the car in jan of 07 and I havn't changed them so at least over a year if not since the car was new. I was going to have them checked out when I get my brakes done next week.

oh, I meant like if you turn the steering wheel a lot one way or another, it wants to pull that way a little while you're driving.

Ex. I pull up to a stop sign and turn right onto the road. After I turn and I'm going down the road, if I left go of the steering wheel the car will start to noticably go towards the right and continue until I'm off the road.

thats going to be normal for any lowered protege because you have seriously compromised the suspension geometry. no way around it.

I know, it sucks.

What about the noise of them turning though when I turn the wheel, can I mute that or lower the sound some how?

I'm short with knowledge in the suspension area of my car so if I did have endlink problems, how would I know?

LOL. ull hear "cluddle cluddle cluddle" u can look and see. grab em and shake em, and check how close the sweay bar is to the tie rods.

So if I don't hear any noise while driving I don't have problems, or when I turn?

I do hear noise when I turn the steering wheel.

Its kind of a deepish sounding clicking noise when I turn the wheel, like the springs a slightly slipping against the top of the strut. There isn't a piece of rubber in between the spring and the strut plate like with the stock ones, there is the top of the spring with a metal cup thing that sits on top of it then the strut plate so I figured it was those two thing rubbing as I turned the wheel.

I don't have a floor jack so I haven't been able to look but I'm going to my friend's sat. to put my rear lip on so I'll check then.

also when u do that, jack the front of the car up, let the springs fall down, turn the ignition to on, and turn em and see what happens. u cud do this with two scissor jacks

Turn the ignition on so the wheels don't lock up?

If nothing happens when I turn the wheels except for the wheels turning, thats good right?

My g-ma don't have one in her car and I only have one, I'd be scared to use that to lift the front anyways, I BEARLY can fit a floor jack underneath it and I can't even get to the nipple bump down there. haha.
