Also the CC runs off of vacuum and doesn't work or know what to do under boost, that was my understanding of why it isn't used on the boosted cars.

you just need some type of vacuum accumulator. (or electronic throttle) when you are running cruise control, chances are good that "IF" the engine goes into boost, it will be for a very short time. even at 0-psi on the boost gauge, you would be pulling pretty hard to keep your speed steady. there are many other cars with turbos that also have cruise. mazda just decided it wasnt needed on the MSP.

I was about to say, I know some turbo cars that have CC.

I guess that just goes to show that when Mazda does performance, it truly looks to eliminate waste and weight and still keep a car relatively inexpensive.

I know other turbo cars have cruise, I just assumed it was electronically operated.

Cruise Controls now are electronic. No vacuum is required. As for the Sunroof, I think it has more to do with weight than structural integrity.

If cruise on these cars are vacuum operated, then put a check valve in line to the cruise control module, boom problem solved.

I had it on my car for a while when I was boosted, but it never went into boost when I had it on, so I couldnt tell you how it would react

I had CC on my p5 when it was boosted and had no issues at all even when CC caused the car to go into boost.nicee cars though everyone. I need to take more pics of my new car. I just has no skills with a camera

Thanks guys! They were taken by my good friend Lawrence (blue miata). That last one in the middle of the street was such a pain lol. We had to keep moving every 5 minutes due to cars. You would think at midnight there would be no one out there.
